Cool.
How does your love it differ from the Times review?
What do you think of the “weaknesses such” as the ATT conection?
More details needed.

I agree with most of Pogue’s observations. He’s one of the few reviewers who managed to write a fairly balanced review.
Every device has strengths and weaknesses. To focus myopically on each one is to miss the point. Big picture, the iPhone is a giant leap forward for personal communication devices.
EDGE is fine. Of course it’s not nearly as satisfying as HSDPA would be. But so what? It has EDGE. It’s useful. I can deal. And when the iPhone does get upgraded to HSDPA, I’ll upgrade, and that’ll be great.
Any other questions? I can, if you’re interested, list out some specific delightful touches and minor annoyances.
The litle that I saw looked great. Apple again shows that they are involved in a whole other ball game of technical and aesthetic intelligence. It works real cool and is real cool.
if you have time, it would be great to list some specific delightful touches and yes, the annoyances.
